![]() At the core of Transsol's unique RAMS technology are its RaCom and SAbRE databases; software products providing highly efficient solutions to RAMS management and in-service reliability performance/condition monitoring. Both products are fully configurable and expandable solutions that provide invaluable information in a coherent and intuitive manner. These generic software products are easily configured to specific applications and provide:
The SAbRE database is a management system intended to facilitate Reliability Demonstration Testing (RDT). It is used to store and analyse the reliability test data (based on pre-defined coded information), calculate system performance and present test results as part of a wider Fault Recording and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) which also includes capture of test data and guidelines for its use. Initially developed as a standalone run-time application for use on clients' IT infrastructure, the SAbRE application is being migrated to the web in order to offer a managed service accessible to clients via a secure internet connection. In addition to reliability demonstration, the SAbRE database enables failure modes to be identified and trends analysed; it also provides the information required to optimise maintenance tasks thereby reducing the costs of ownership of equipment. The RaCom (RAMS Compliance) database provides a means of storing information relating to the RAMS activities undertaken by a project covered by the European standard EN50126. It allows for RAMS activities to be recorded and reported and is being developed to incorporate management of all RAMS related data including hazards, RAMS requirements and documentation. By recording this data the RaCom application will function as a project hazard log, provide full tracking of all RAMS related requirements and a document control system for RAMS related documentation. Like its counter part, the RaCom database is being migrated to the web in order to provide a centralised and secure tool for management and reporting of RAMS activities and assessments.. Both of these products have been successfully implemented on the Athens Metro lines 2 and 3 extension projects. Download the summary information about the SAbRE and RaCom applications.
